JEFFERSON CITY — Word&Way trustees adopted a 2011 budget, extended the service of two board members and elected officers for next year when they met in here Nov. 9.
The news journal board adopted a $529,629 budget in income and expenses for 2011, down from $546,362 for 2010. The new budget reflects no change in current subscription rates.
At the request of the board, trustees Ken Horn and Keith Huffman have agreed to extend their service as trustees. They were scheduled to rotate off the board at the end of the year, but have been asked to serve until successors are found or up to one year. Trustees also elected Paula Jackson as chair, Tim Kelley as vice chair and Debbie Miller as recording secretary for 2011.
