This year, 37 college student staffers ministered to 2,283 in 60 camps hosted in Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Texas and Alabama. The ministry also made two trips to Mexico. In Merida, a city in the Yucatan, Sports Crusaders staff held several basketball clinics and competitive games. They shared testimonies during halftime at each game and provided a sharing time at each clinic.

Executive Director Tricia Alberts estimates between 75 and 100 students professed Christ as personal Savior as a result of the trip. "We gave away over 100 Spanish Bibles," she said.

Cory Casey led a men's competitive trip to Los Mochis, Mexico, hosting clinics and games, as well.

Missouri students who served on staff include Spencer Ayers of Sikeston, Robert Bond of California, Drew Hagni of Rolla, Ricky Graham of St. Louis, Dione Greer of Kansas City, Kevin Gidney of Springfield, Tori Hagni of Rolla, Tavin Noellsch and Tim Otte.

Also ministering were Allen Love of St. Louis, Abby Eagleburger, Miranda Walker of Moberly, Mary Miller of Fulton, Lauren Bolten of Warrensburg, Amanda Robert_son of Willard, Devin Bain of St. Charles, Rebecca Raithel of Russellville, Rebekah McCray of Warsaw and Ben Gingrich of St. Charles.
