Southern Baptists in Missouri will gather in Branson at the Branson Convention Center Oct. 28-29 for their 185th annual meeting at the Branson Convention Center for reports, business, meetings, and worship.
The theme for this year’s gathering is “Christ is All!”based on Colossians 1:15-23. The meeting is schedule to run Monday afternoon through Tuesday afternoon, with a Tuesday evening concert by Keith and Kristyn Getty, who will be providing worship music throughout the meeting.
Scheduled speakers include Johnny Hunt, pastor of First Baptist Church Woodstock, Georgia; the president’s address by Jeremy Muniz, senior pastor of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri; executive director’s address by John Yeats; Carlos Smith, lead pastor of The Journey Hanley Road in University City, Missouri; and SBC president J.D. Greear, pastor of The Summit Church, in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.
The meeting will be live-streamed on the annual meeting website, which also offers a provisional program and other materials.
A pastor’s conference precedes the annual meeting, also held at the convention center.
