The pastor of Assembly of God in Redwood Valley, is among three people diagnosed with the coronavirus after participating in a Mother’s Day livestream service with singing, according to officials. It is the second church in Northern California linked to the spread of the coronavirus during Mother’s Day services.
A video of the livestream on the church’s Facebook page indicated that only three people were present: McMilin, a female singer and the person recording the service. McMilin and the woman both sing, while standing well apart.
