Baptist entities are mobilizing to assist Haiti after an earthquake, estimated at a magnitude of 7.0, rocked the island nation on Jan. 12. The International Red Cross reported Jan. 13 that about 3 million people have been affected, particularly in and around the capital city of Port-au-Prince, near the quake’s epicenter.
