Accommodations were still available at press time for the Sept. 19-21 celebration of Windermere Baptist Conference Center’s 50th anniversary.

The tentative schedule posted on Windermere’s site indicates guests may check in from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, followed by an open house from 2-5 p.m. on the dining hall patio. Various musicians will be featured.
In addition, tours will be provided between 3-5:30 p.m. to enable guests to see both early facilities and newer ones.
A concert featuring six individuals and groups will begin at 7 p.m., followed by vespers at 9 p.m. An outdoor watermelon and ice cream social will follow that.
On Saturday, morning vespers are planned for 7:30 a.m., with 9-11:30 a.m. given to sharing homecoming memories at various stations in lower Harding Auditorium. Stations will include Acteens/GAs, education, missions, Royal Ambassadors/Brotherhood, summer staffers, Windermere history, emphasis weeks and volunteers.
More tours will be offered from 10:30-11:30 a.m., with a 2-4 p.m. large worship celebration planned with music, testimonies, presentations, a message by Judson College president Jerry Cain and a look to the future of the facility.
The weekend will conclude with a worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
